Registration Requirements

We maintain high standards of record keeping to ensure that all our participants are in the appropriate age group of play. We also want to ensure they’re healthy and fit for competition. As as result, we require the all of following for your child’s participation in football or cheer.

QUESTIONS

Skills and drills begin in late April and are usually once a week. Padded practices begin in mid-July and are usually three times a week — weather permitting.

We usually practice at Mack Tharpe Stadium. However, we may decide to move practice to the indoor facility in cases of extremely hot or inclement weather.

During the season which begins on July 15th, we’ll practice in pads two days a week and just shorts and helmets the other day. Padded practices are full contact.

Regular season games are held on Saturdays. Home games will be played at Mack Tharpe Stadium. Our 6U games usually start at 10:00am, followed by 8U at 11:00am, 10U at 12:00pm, and 12U at 1:00pm.

Our Pop Warner league includes teams from cities around south Georgia. Half of our games will be at home at Mack Tharpe Stadium and the other half will be on the road. The farthest we currently have to travel for any game is Columbus, GA.
